The April 1999 Physical Meeting of the San Francisco Bay Area Cypherpunks
will feature two important discussions/demonstrations of new secure networking
technologies, Linux FreeS/WAN and PGPnet. Both of these
technologies, FreeS/WAN on Linux hosts and PGPnet on user machines, will
interoperate and will provide high-grade security for potentially millions of
network connections.
As always, this is an Open Meeting on US Soil and members of the Public
are encouraged to attend.

Location Info:
The meeting location will be familiar to those who've been to our outdoor
meetings before, but for those who haven't been, it's on the Stanford
University campus, at the tables outside Tresidder Union, at the end of
Santa Theresa, just west of Dinkelspiel Auditorium.
Meeting Area:
We meet at the tables on the west side of the building, inside the
horseshoe "U" formed by Tresidder. Ask anyone on campus where Tressider is
and they'll help you find it.
Food and beverages are available at the cafe inside Tressider.
IMPORTANT NOTE: **Possible Alternate Sites**
The meeting will PROBABLY be held at Stanford University's Tressider Union,
but will move inside the Student Union building in the event of inclement
weather or hovering black helicopters.
Also, if Network Associates's palatial multimedia grotto becomes available,
the meeting may move to NAI's HQ building in Santa Clara for the PGPnet demo.
SHOULD THE MEETING LOCATION CHANGE, a follow-up announcement
will be POSTED HERE and MAILED OUT to the usual lists.
